Pink Rugs
For bedrooms or new retro kitchens, pink rugs can help achieve a look that is comfortable and charming. They come in many different sizes and shapes, so you can find the ideal product for your particular decor and space. Items in this color are not limited to use in a young girl’s room. They can look great in an adult bedroom, perhaps with a classical style of floral prints and hard wood furniture.
Many prints in bedding, quilts and curtains contain this color in flowers, with green accents, hints of yellow and possibly lavender. A rug in a light rose shade brings out the color in floral patterns and helps maintain the softness that the lighter shades provide, in contrast to darker wood grains of the furniture. For a teen’s room, a neon shade can provide the trendy look that is desirable by many older youths. It can be used with furniture consisting of steel frames and glass, acrylic tables and chairs and contemporary bedding consisting of many geometric shapes of different colors, which include the brighter, hotter shade. A pink shag rug also looks good in this brighter shade in the middle of a bedroom floor.
For a retro look in the kitchen, there are many small appliances available in this color, including toasters, blenders, can openers, coffee makers, mixers, microwave ovens and cooking utensils. Some parlor style tables and benches also include vinyl seating of this shade. Using pink area rugs in the center of the room can help unify the color theme and draws attention to many items of the same color within the room. It can also be paired with black, for a nice contrast of dark and light in a room. Some people may even choose to use large area rugs of this color in the living room, to break up a neutral color theme or provide interest.
