White Rugs
White rugs give the appearance of plush and luxury and add a touch of class to any room in which they are featured. They make spaces feel open and airy and when paired with similarly themed furnishings bring the feeling of highly cultured modernity. This class, however, only works for white rugs that are kept white. White rugs that have clear stains of dirt and grime can have a disastrous effect on the decor.

For a white shag rug, it is important to ensure that the vacuum brushes are set as high off the rug as is possible so that the pieces of the rug do not become entangled in the vacuum. In addition to regular vacuuming, white rugs should be taken outside and beaten at least once a year to release deeper dirt. Besides removing loose dirt, white rugs, especially those in high traffic areas, need to be shampooed a few times a year. If anything is spilled or dripped on a white rug, the rug should be cleaned immediately so as not to permanently stain it.
White rugs are a fantastic addition to any decor, but only if they are kept in their original pristine condition. In order to get the full effect of their class and style, make sure to regularly clean all white rugs. This will keep them looking modern and beautiful.
